The duo have posted podcasts of themselves and their music online, hoping to be discovered, and now have thousands fans.
The online promotion is going well with fans demanding the film in cities across New Zealand. Check out the 'Butterfly Crush the Movie NZ Release' page on Facebook for all the information on the New Zealand screenings.
The film attracted a lot of attention when it was screened in the Market at the Cannes Film Festival in May this year and we expect to announce release dates in other countries soon.
The production company behind Butterfly Crush has signed deals with the House of Film in California for the international rights and Hiltz Squared in Toronto for North American rights.
If you would like a screening of Butterfly Crush in your city, please use the 'Demand It' button at the top of the page. When we get enough demands for the film in any city, we will organize a screening of the film for you.
